What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is an annual, nationwide campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and fosters neighborhood camaraderie. It's all about coming together to build safer, more connected communities and celebrate the partnerships that make our city a better place to live.

Each year, hundreds of local residents attend to enjoy fun activities, visit informational booths, and learn about valuable services available in our area. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for organizations to engage with citizens of all ages and share how they support the community.

Why It Matters

National Night Out is designed to:

  • Heighten awareness of crime and drug prevention

  • Support and grow participation in local anti-crime initiatives

  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and foster police-community relationships

  • Send a clear message to criminals: our neighborhoods are organized and united
